The foie mousse is the first step in getting to know the foie gras family and it is ideal for canapés.
The crushed (emulsified) dough based on foie gras can be spread on bread, or made in original presentations in small cubes or balls that are very attractive.
Although this product is a tinned food and does not need cold for its conservation, it is recommended to put it in the refrigerator when it is going to be consumed so that it acquires a consistent texture. Take the Foie Gras out of the refrigerator and keep it at room temperature between 5 and 20 minutes before tasting it in order to appreciate all its qualities.
To consume tinned foie gras, it is best to open the two lids and push one of them, extract all the content on a plate.
Once opened, cut it into thin slices. To do this, use a very sharp knife, previously passed through hot water. You can also use a cheese lyre to cut it. Serve on toasted bread that will be useful as a "base" for the foie gras that we are going to taste.
